📢 Tender Notice: VITEK 2 Supplies

The Taiwan Medical Mission in the Republic of Somaliland invites qualified suppliers to submit tenders for the supply of VITEK 2 laboratory products.

📦 Required Products

The following items are required:

  • Gram Negative AST (GN73) – 5 Boxes
  • Gram Positive AST (P592) – 3 Boxes
  • Gram Negative (GN) – 3 Boxes
  • Gram Positive (GP) – 2 Boxes
  • Adult, Aerobic – 2 Boxes
  • Adult, Anaerobic – 2 Boxes
  • Pediatrics, Aerobic – 2 Boxes
  • Pediatrics, Anaerobic – 2 Boxes

⚙️ Additional Requirements

🔬 Compatibility

A Vitek 2 Compact Instrument is currently installed at the Hargeisa Group Hospital laboratory. All products must be fully compatible with the existing Vitek 2 Compact Instrument System.

📅 Product Expiration

  • Products must have an expiration period of 18–24 months from the date of manufacture.
  • A minimum of 18 months of laboratory activity must remain before expiration.

👩‍🔬 Training

If requested, the selected supplier must provide training sessions for laboratory technicians to ensure proper use of the testing system.

🌍 Origin of Products

Products manufactured in China or by Chinese companies will not be considered.

💰 Pricing Structure

  • The price of each product must be listed clearly.
  • Shipment costs must be quoted separately.

🚚 Delivery

  • Products must be delivered to the agreed location.
  • Delivery must occur within 8 weeks of order placement.
  • Taiwan Medical Mission must be notified accordingly.

  • Tender Opening: 19 February 2026
  • Submission Deadline: 26 February 2026, 5:00 PM (Local Time)
  • Bid Opening: 8 March 2026, 11:00 AM (Local Time)
